Skoda reveals Irish Kodiaq pricing

Kodiaq

Skoda Ireland has released pricing for the eagerly anticipated Kodiaq, the brand’s first SUV. Due to launch in March, prices for the Kodiaq will start from €28,795, with three trim levels (Active, Ambition and Style), five engine and transmission options, and a seven seater version for an extra €1,000.

The base model comes with a 1.4L petrol engine producing 125hp (€28,795), with a 190hp 2.0L TDI with an automatic gearbox and 4×4 capabilities topping the range at €44,145. That’s not bad considering the rival Nissan X-Trail starts at €29,995 while the Hyundai Santa Fe begins at €39,995.

The entry-level Kodiaq isn’t too sparsely equipped, including cruise control, Smartlink technology which allows smartphone integration with the infotainment system, and Bluetooth. Ambition adds quite a few items such as keyless start, and front and rear parking sensors, while the top of the range Style trim level provides fancier upholstery, ambient lighting, a rearview camera and an 8-inch nav system.
