If your taste in cars involves loud noises, flashy colours and large spoilers, chances are you’ve seen at least one of the six Fast and Furious films. No matter which instalment, there are plenty of fantastic cars on show, from Dom’s 1970 Dodge Charger to Sean’s 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback and the array of cars Brian drove over the course of the films.
One of the most desirable cars from these films (in our opinion, at least) is a modified blue Nissan Skyline R34 – driven by Paul Walker in Fast and Furious 4 – which has changed hands several times in recent years. It’s up for sale again, and could be yours for a not inconsiderable sum of money: according to the German seller, the car comes with “a 40 page detailed appraisal from a well known accredited appraisal company documenting the built and movie car history indicating a value range between EURO 750.000 and 5 Million.” Not exactly pocket change.
According to the description, the Skyline has a straight six, 2.6L engine, is twin turbocharged with all wheel drive and steering, and a six speed manual transmission. And there’s only 6,000km on the clock. The long list of modifications includes Nismo lowering springs, a front mounted intercooler, 19×11 Volk Racing RE30 wheels, a custom HUD, gauges which work with the car’s ECU, custom seats, and Nismo bumpers, side skirts and exhaust.
Some people have suggested that it’s a little disrespectful to be passing the car around, and that it should be with Walker’s family, or in a museum somewhere. We would tend to agree, with one condition – the museum needs to have a track, and a plentiful supply of tyres.
