A 17-year-old base model Rover 45 may not top the list of dream cars for most people, but what if it cost you less than the price of your next bus trip?

HonestJohn’s Craig Cheetham managed to pick up a bog standard 2000 1.4L Rover 45 for just £3.19 (€3.74) courtesy of a recent eBay auction. It’s not the most exciting of cars, with highlights including roll-up windows and plastic wheel trims, but that’s not bad for the cost of a sandwich.
