The Skoda Karoq, set to replace the much-loved and highly versatile Yeti, is due to arrive in Irish dealerships in early December according to Skoda Ireland. The five-seater compact SUV, essentially a smaller version of the new Kodiaq, will be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt International Motor Show next month.

Skoda Ireland has released pricing for the eagerly anticipated Kodiaq, the brand’s first SUV. Due to launch in March, prices for the Kodiaq will start from €28,795, with three trim levels (Active, Ambition and Style), five engine and transmission options, and a seven seater version for an extra €1,000.
The base model comes with a 1.4L petrol engine producing 125hp (€28,795), with a 190hp 2.0L TDI with an automatic gearbox and 4×4 capabilities topping the range at €44,145. That’s not bad considering the rival Nissan X-Trail starts at €29,995 while the Hyundai Santa Fe begins at €39,995.
